Student Information
In early 2005, the Graduate Theological Foundation launched the Dissertations On Disc (DOD) Library, an archive of scholarly work produced by Foundation students in the Doctor of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy degree programs, as well as the A.B.D. program. It is an innovative effort to make complete electronic copies of all successfully defended academic doctoral dissertations internationally available. The rationale for undertaking such a monumental project is the belief by the Foundation that the substantial nature of the scholarship generated by these dissertations should be shared with the wider academic community by means of a cost-effective method.
The Foundation requires all academic doctoral degree students (A.B.D., Th.D., Ph.D., Research) to submit their dissertation to the Dissertations On Disc Library of the Foundation. This requirement must be fulfilled in addition to any requirement regarding physical copies of the dissertation.
Candidates for the Th.D. or Ph.D. (or those in the A.B.D. program) must submit the dissertation, in its final form, via email as an attachment or via mail as a CD-ROM. The format of the dissertation must be either MS Word (.doc) or Adobe Reader (.pdf). If emailed, the dissertation should be submitted to the DOD Library Project Coordinator at marketingandpublications@gtfeducation.org. If mailed, the dissertation should be directed to the general Foundation address.
Only those dissertations which have been successfully defended will be made available through the DOD Library. Dissertations in the DOD Library will be made available for order, with the purchasing price of each DOD serving to cover the cost of materials and shipping charges.
Please note that if degree candidates would like to make themselves available for communication with readers of their dissertation, contact information should be included within the dissertation document.
Titles are continuously being added to the Dissertations On Disc Library. Only those titles appearing below are available for order.
