The Institute for Spiritual Guidance is under the Direction of Keith Reeves Barron, Ph.D., Ed.S., L.P.C., in Columbia, South Carolina. The following provisions apply in this relationship, the end result being that ministry professionals may earn their Doctor of Ministry degree in either Spiritual Guidance or Pastoral Care by completing the ISG Certification Program and submitting all relevant materials with tuition fees to the Graduate Theological Foundation. Rules for admission are as follows:

A ministry professional (ordained or laity) holding a master’s degree in a cognate field of counseling, ministry, psychology, or mediation, must present (1) the Certificate of Completion from the Palmetto Health Institute for Spirituality’s Spiritual Guidance Training Program, (2) a Roster of Courses and Training Record plus the title of the Exit Project completed for the ISGPC Certificate, and (3) a letter of support and endorsement from the Director of the ISGPC. The applicant will, thereby, receive the Doctor of Ministry degree in either the student’s choice of Spiritual Guidance or Pastoral Care upon fulfillment of financial obligations to the Graduate Theological Foundation.
