Marlene Kropf is William B. Oglesby, Jr., Professor of Pastoral Theology. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Oregon College of Education as well as the Master of Arts in Teaching from that institution. After teaching English language and literature for several years in Oregon as well as in Jamaica, she became Minister of Christian Education with the Mennonite Board of Congregational Ministries in Indiana, and, following several years of liturgical study at the University of Notre Dame, she received her Master of Divinity from the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart, Indiana, and thereby became Minister of Worship and Spirituality on the staff of the Mennonite Board of Congregational Ministries. In 1992 she was ordained for church wide ministry. She currently serves as Associate Professor in Spiritual Formation and Worship at the Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and as Minister of Worship for Mennonite Church USA. She holds the Doctor of Ministry from the Foundation.
