Rev. Paul Hometowu, D. Min., is Professor of Religious Education in the CORE faculty of Cloverdale College. Dr. Hometowu holds an M.A. in Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University and a Doctor of Ministry degree with a concentration in Pastoral Counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation. Dr. Hometowu is a religious consultant, a chaplain of the 37th Military Hospital and the pastor of Saint Michael’s Catholic Church in Accra, Ghana. Dr. Hometowu taught for a number of years in secondary school in Dzodze, in the Volta Region of Ghana. Dr. Hometowu’s publications include Institutional Chaplaincy Work: Special Family Pastoral Ministry and Christian Worship in Ghana: Contemporary Formation, Pastoral & Theological Challenges.

Nancy Mason Bordley, D. Min., has ministered professionally in the areas of Religious Education and Adult Education, Worship, and Music for over 35 years. She is a spiritual director and facilitates retreats. Nancy received a Doctor of Ministry from the Graduate Theological Foundation, in South Bend, IN, a M.A. in Pastoral Studies, from Sts. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, MI and a B.A. in Religious Education from St. Mary’s College, Orchard Lake, MI. Dr. Bordley received a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Dominican Center for Religious Development.
Nancy is founder and operator of her own business, Parish Services, which specializes in contracted lay ministry servicing the Archdiocese of Detroit. In addition she is co-author of ACTS: A Call to Serve, a published program commissioned by the Pontiac Area Vicariate of the Archdiocese of Detroit, designed to train ministers for voluntary service within the Church.
Nancy’s ministry experience includes teaching: Elementary Music Education, RCIA, and Catechist Formation. Her background includes many years of Music Ministry, Worship, Spirituality and Pastoral Care. Nancy has served at several parishes in the Archdiocese of Detroit. She is currently on staff at St. John Fisher Chapel University Parish in Auburn Hills and at the Dominican Center for Religious Development in Detroit, MI.

Rev. Ralph E. Jones, Ed.D., has been an ordained minister within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and one of its predecessor church bodies since 1980. He served as parish pastor until 2001 when he was elected bishop of the Northwestern Pennsylvania Synod of the ELCA.
Dr. Jones received a B.A. in Religion from Gettysburg College, a M.Div. in Parish Ministry from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, a M.A. (ABD) in Systematic Theology and Ethics from Duquesne University, and an Ed.D. from the Graduate Theological Foundation.
The Northwestern Pennsylvania Synod under the leadership of Dr. Jones implemented the Theological Education for Emerging Ministries process, an alternative track to prepare persons for ordination and service within the ELCA. In collaboration with the Northwestern Pennsylvania Diocese of the Episcopal Church, the Northwestern Pennsylvania Institute for Ministry Education was established to provide preparation for 1) persons seeking commissioning, consecration, or ordination; 2) persons seeking licensed or authorized ministries; 3) persons to be equipped for various ministries in congregations and communities; 4) persons interested in deeper theological studies; and 5) ordained and rostered leaders who desire significant continuing education opportunities.
