Aziz Abdin, Ph.D.

 Aziz Abdin, is Professor of Islamic Studies for Foundation courses offered in Lebanon. Dr. Abdin was born and raised in Damascus, Syria where he attended Damascus University for 3 years and then went on to earn his B.A. from Da’wa College-Syria Branch. He has dedicated his life to teaching the Arabic language and enhancing understanding of the Muslim religion. Dr. Abdin travels extensively in order to further these goals. He earned the Doctor of Philosophy in Islamic Studies in 2008 from the Graduate Theological Foundation, his thesis for which focused on the necessity of solving the current crisis, Qur’an and Sonah. Along with being an Arabic professor and a Middle Eastern Culture professor at the Imperial Valley College, he is also the founder of Building Bridges for Human Understanding, a member of the North American Imams Federation (NAIF), and a guest speaker for various Mosques in Southern California.
