GTF Alumni Survey

 Part I: Graduates from 2007-2011

About the Survey

A Graduate Theological Foundation Alumni Survey was launched on November 1, 2011. A total of 1,488 alumni were polled. The survey group was made up of alumni of the Graduate Theological Foundation who graduated during the last 25 years, between 1982 and 2011. Alumni were asked a series of 31 questions which were divided into four sections: “Personal Biographical Information” (six questions); “Student Life at the GTF” (nine questions); “Professional Life After the GTF” (seven questions); and “Personal Assessment of the GTF Experience” (nine questions). The GTF Survey resulted in a response rate of 26%.

Graduate Theological Foundation alumni were polled in two groups: Graduates from 2007-2011 (“Part I”) and Graduates from 1982-2006 (“Part II”). The separation of survey groups is due to programmatic changes at the GTF since 2007 which would invariably result in highly varied individual responses regarding the academic experience. Graduates polled for each respective part of the survey experienced highly similar academic experiences.
