This relationship allows a student to complete partial coursework requirements for the D.Min. degree or the M.P.C. degree at The Spiritual Guidance Training Institute. The Spiritual Guidance Training Institute, (SGTI) is a leading edge organization engaging in education, experiences, and relationships for practical, integrative, unitive living. They specialize in the art and training of spiritual guides (directors), offering a professional certificate which encompasses skills in both interfaith and interspiritual guidance.
Master of Pastoral Counseling
The full certificate program at SGTI can fulfill all academic requirements of the Master of Pastoral Counseling degree (MPC) with a specialization in Interfaith/Interspiritual Guidance. Applicants should meet GTF prerequisites for admission to the M.P.C. degree: bachelor’s degree plus 5 years involvement in a faith community/ministry.
Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Direction
The full certificate program can fulfill all but the doctoral project or Non-Project Option for the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Spiritual Direction with a further specialization in Interfaith/Interspiritual Guidance. Applicants should meet GTF prerequisites for admission to the D.Min. degree: master’s degree plus 5 years involvement in a faith community/ministry.
