We would like to welcome Dr. Clair Linzey  who has been appointed the Frances Power Cobbe Professor of Animal Theology. Her doctorate is in theology from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. Before that, she gained her masters in Divinity at the same University, and then did a second masters at Harvard Divinity School. She is Deputy Director of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, and Director of the Annual Oxford Animal Ethics Summer School.  Please visit our website to read her full faculty profile.






Dr. C. Anthony Hunt, GTF Faculty Fellow and E. Franklin Frazier Professor of African American Studies was among five Wesley Theological Seminary faculty whose recent publications were recognized at a Faculty Book Celebration in Washington, DC on December 5th.  Dr. Hunt gave a brief presentation on his newly released book, Come Go with Me: Howard Thurman and a Gospel of Radical Inclusivity, and then participated in a panel discussion with faculty colleagues who have also recently published books.

The 24th Asian Christian Hospital Association Annual Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand, in November. GTF faculty member, Shinichi Tagami was a mediator and a representative from Japan. Dr. Tagami is Professor of Psychology and Counseling whose specialized areas of interest include Spiritual care, hospital chaplaincy and administration and school administration.
