New Doctoral Defense Protocol
Every student is different and unique. Here at GTF, it is always our goal to offer options that fit the needs and desires of our students. One of the highlights of a doctoral program is the defense. This gives the student the opportunity and challenge to present their research through conversations with faculty readers. To give students options in this highlight moment of their studies, GTF is now providing three different defense possibilities. Students and their advisors are invited to choose the option that best fits their desires and needs. ANNOUNCING The Homecoming Graduation June 4-5, 2020 Oklahoma City, Oklahoma The entire GTF community, including faculty, alumni, current students, and graduating students and their families, are invited to a major event in the history and life of the Graduate Theological Foundation. Our Homecoming Graduation will be held in our new program office location of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma USA. The Mishawaka staff team and the Oklahoma City team will join together in leading this event. Hotel space will be reserved near our Oklahoma City office, and transportation will be offered to all graduating activities. Our activities will include the Runcie Lecture and reception on Thursday evening, the Day of Convocation small group activities, and the graduation exercises. More details will be forthcoming, but in the meantime, please put this on your calendar and plan to join us for the Homecoming Graduation of GTF, June 4-5, 2020.
New Chairman of the Board
The Rev. Dr. Paul Kirbas, GTF faculty member, has recently been named as Chairman of the Board of the Graduate Theological Foundation. We look forward to working with Dr. Kirbas as we continue our mission of providing quality continuing educational opportunities to ministry professionals. Dr. Kirbas follows Dr. John Morgan as Chairman of the Board. Dr. Morgan, Research Professor of Clinical Psychopathology and Director of Doctoral Programs in Clinical Psychotherapy, who will remain active on the Board of Trustees and on the GTF faculty, has the following to say about this transition.

GTF certificates are graduate-level, non-degree programs designed for ministry/social service professionals seeking to increase their knowledge and competency in a specific area of study. Each certificate requires completion of an online curriculum tailored to the student’s specific interests and needs.
